Runway Gen-3

Runway's Gen-3 Alpha generates short video clips — up to about 10 seconds — from text prompts or a starting image, with noticeably more consistent motion than earlier video models. The web interface is straightforward: type a prompt or upload an image, choose a duration, and generate. Output runs on a credit system, so longer or higher-quality generations consume credits quickly, and the 10-second clip limit means longer sequences have to be stitched together from multiple generations. For teams, Runway also offers a Team plan (2–9 seats) with shared workspaces and pooled credits — useful for studios collaborating on the same projects.
