Lex
AI-native document editor built for long-form writing, with AI suggestions woven directly into the drafting process.
About Lex
Lex is a from-scratch document editor (not a plugin) designed around AI-assisted long-form writing — essays, articles, and reports — with inline suggestions and a chat panel for brainstorming without leaving the document. It appeals to writers who want a purpose-built app rather than an add-on to Word or Google Docs. This listing is compiled from publicly available information rather than hands-on testing — see our Featured Tools for entries our team has personally tested.
